NewsThe Jesus and Mary Chain extend tourThe Jesus And Mary Chain have announced a string of festival date this summer. In addition to playing a pre-Coachella date in Pomona, California on April 26 as well as the festival itself the following day, the newly reunited band will hit festivals in Portugal, Spain, Germany, Scotland and Ireland this summer. After playing Spain's Summercase Festival in Madrid and Barcelona as previously announced, the band will hit several other festivals including Scotland's Connect and Ireland's Electric Picnic. These gigs will be the band's first since they split up in 1998. The dates are: Pomona, CA Glass House (April 26) Indio, CA Coachella Festival Empire Polo Field (27) Lisbon, Portugal Super Bock Super Rock (July 4) Madrid, Spain Summercase Festival (13) Barcelona, Spain Summercase Festival (14) Hildesheim, Germany M'era Luna Festival (August 12) Argyll, Scotland Connect Festival Inveraray Castle (31) County Laois, Ireland Electric Picnic Stradbally Estate (September 1) Muse announce big names for Wembley shows Muse are set to give their Wembley Stadium mega-gigs a festival feel after they have announced a unique line-up for each night. The trio will play the stadium on June 16 and 17 and have ensured both shows will be special by convincing some of their favourite bands to join them across the weekend. On the Saturday night (16), Muse have managed to lure The Streets out of the studio as their special guests, while on Sunday (17) My Chemical Romance are the main support. They have also signed up Biffy Clyro and Rodrigo Y Gabriela to play, while Zane Lowe will DJ at the mega gigs. Muse's Wembley Stadium line-ups are: Saturday, June 16 Muse The Streets Rodrigo Y Gabriela Sunday, June 17 Muse My Chemical Romance Biffy Clyro More acts will be announced soon.
